"Discover The Power of Divine Intimacy Beyond Salvation"

The more I searched for scripture, the more He led me to drink. One of the most intimate examples of God reaching out to His very own was with Moses.

This is a compelling story of their camaraderie and uplifted my soul as I read about this man of God who in his weakness, became strengthened by God.

Let us go to Exodus 2:1 which brings into play Moses and his relationship with God. It is here that I want to give you a little background concerning Moses. His Father was Am ram, mother: Jochebed, brother: Aaron, sister: Miriam. Moses was no ordinary child. Pharaoh gave order to all people that every boy child must be thrown into the river ---

Jochebed placed Moses in a basket and put him floating on the Nile River where the Pharaoh's daughter retrieved him. Moses was a Hebrew child. He became the Pharaoh's daughter's son. She named him Moses who means: "I drew him out of the water."

As a result, Moses became a well educated man and identified himself with Israel as a Hebrew. He killed an Egyptian Officer and because of this action, Moses fled Pharaoh and went to dwell in Midian, where he was tending the flock of Jethro, and lived in obscurity for 40 years.

It was there the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in flames of fire from within a bush. Moses was influenced by God to come to Him. Moses saw that though the bush was on fire it did not burn up. So Moses went to the place where this strange sight was happening.

When the Lord saw that Moses had gone over to look, God called to him from within the bush. "Moses, Moses", and Moses answered and said: "Here am I".

God said, "Do not come any closer, but take off your sandals, for the place (the time, the season) where you stand is holy ground."

Ecc. 3:1 speaks of a time for everything and a season for every activity under heaven. God introduced himself to Moses and began drawing him unto Himself, the creator of all.

God began building in Moses a higher understanding of commitment and level in relationship that very hour. God approached Moses to bring his people out of hard bondage by sending him to Pharaoh.

Moses quickly answered God in disbelief: "Who am I that I should go?" And as the story continues, God convinces Moses of His might and power to accomplish the desires of God's heart toward this people.

The key element is: Moses heard and came! He was obedient. This is important to Christians as a whole today. Deut 26:16 commands that we follow and carefully observe Gods laws with the whole of the heart are we to appropriate our lives and actions.

This power of obedience possesses skill and the ability to know how to carry out the plans of God which He sets as guidelines for us, leaving nothing undone before Him.

Moses came and thus as a result of his obedience, his relationship with God began to move toward a higher degree of understanding. He was obedient to hear and then to apply.

Ezk. 34:11 says that God himself, will search for His sheep and look after them.

God began to use His power and strength to influence the Pharaoh through the weaker vessel of Moses. It was Moses who delivered by the Hand of God, the people of Israel from bondage.

God then established the Ten Commandments. It is in the 33rd Chapter of Exodus that I want to camp. Moses approached God concerning His Glory. He was influenced by God to come to Him. God initiated to draw and prepare the heart of Moses to come.

Moses wanted more of God. Record shows that God would speak to Moses face to face, as man speaks with his friend.

God is willing to expose Himself to those whose hearts have been prepared to receive. Moses wanted to share in a more intimate understanding of His creator and asked God to see His Glory. He journeyed into the next level in understanding. He saw something he had never before seen. He felt the person of God touch His heart. Moses had tasted of the goodness of the Lord and wanted more. He traveled to the place God had prepared in his heart to receive and God acknowledged Moses obedience, allowing this higher level of understanding.

Moses time, and season for discovery had come. And with that in mind, let us proceed in scripture. Moses said: "If I have found favor in your eyes, teach me your ways so I may know you and continue to find favor with you. The Lord then replied, "My Presence will go with you, and I will give your rest."

Moses said to God: "How will anyone know that you are pleased with me and with your people unless you go with us?" And the Lord replied to Moses: "I will do the very thing you have asked, because I am pleased with you and know you by name." Then Moses said, "Now show me your glory."

"I will cause all my goodness to pass in front of you, and I will proclaim my name, the Lord, in your presence; but you cannot see my face, for no one may see me and live, said God!"

"There is a place near me where you may stand on a rock. When my glory passes by, I will put you in a cleft in the rock and cover you with my hand until I have passed by." "Then I will remove My hand and you will see My back, but my face must not be seen."

"Now, how was I to fulfill this desire and longing of my heart?" God's word reveals in I Kings 22:5 to first "seek the counsel of the Lord."

And so, in the year 2000, I took great strides upon my quest for truth to know and understand the heart of God upon the issues of my life. Matthew 21:22 says: "If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer."

For this reason, I began to kneel before my Father, to grasp just how wide and long, how high and deep is this love that surpasses all knowledge. I sincerely believed God would meet me right where I was and the reason I was lacking manna in my life was "I had not, because I asked not." Therefore, commitment before God was made. I searched for scripture to draw me beside the still waters leading to the face and heart of God, my Father.

John 8:32 emphasized that "the Word of God's truth will set you free." Freedom, creating self-determination, having that free will to choose to live and express ourselves within the sovereignty of God's presence and loving embrace where there is no lack. God is the Divine Shepherd. He is the sure foundation. Upon His solid rock we stand. All other ground is sinking sand!

The answers were clearly visible to me as the mind of God began to pull me inward. I knew that He had set apart the godly for himself, believing with eyes of faith, the Lord will hear me when I call out to Him, it was with great delight that I cried, "Let the light of your face shine upon me, O' Lord, my God, as I come!"

Jeremiah 29:11 promised me, "For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you plans to give you hope and a future, then you will call upon Me and come and pray to me and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart, I will be found by you, declares the Lord."

John 1:12 speaks of "as many as received Him to them God gave the RIGHT to become children of God, to those who believe in His name."

Matthew 7:13, then revealed to me to "enter through the narrow gate for wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction."

I was to approach my Father through the small gate, the narrow road that leads to His Life within me and only a few find it. The road map was suddenly becoming a well lit torch of information, as I heard the voice of God speak to my spirit, "not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit says the Lord, I will draw all men unto Me."

Laughter began to flood my soul as He touched me with these words. It was definitely too late to turn back now. I was so willing to move forward as I was for the first time in my life of understanding, falling so deeply and passionately in love with God. By His grace alone, this wealth of knowledge and understanding was falling like rain drops upon my brow.

This process took its own measure of time, as I began to drink deeply from his well of living waters revealing daily to my heart, the person of God's character within.

Ultimately, the desire of His heart upon the issues of my life was beginning to take precedence over me.

I was experiencing the longing I so desperately needed to create "change." I was walking with God and He was walking with me. His favor was upon me and the change within me reflected growth of a new and different stature.

I was being taught and fed by the Hand of God, who was teaching me all things according to the Word of His Power, being made manifest deep within my soul. My hunger pains disappeared as I sat at the table of His mercy and grace.

A banquet fit for a king was placed in honor of me. Each morsel was given by His Hand and I did eat! I was experiencing divine fellowship with God. He knew my name.

We became familiar and an everlasting relationship was ours. I participated in an open invitation to "come up hither" and experience the knowledge of God being engraved upon the table of my heart.

I was aware and it was so wonderful to finally share my world with His. My Spirit leaped for joy! How great is this God who comes before us to live, and to embrace our world with the warmth of his eternal friendship. How can we, as His people, decline hearing the heart of God and his offer of eternal embrace?

Are we so spiritually in a stupor, that we would dishonor God, with no regard or concern, thus disabling our future with no one to help? God forbid!

In my book, "May I Have This Dance?" God clearly uses my experience as an instrument, when sincerely approached with purity of heart, will engage the reader to connect with God. The message is loud and strong.

"Will you allow God to lead and direct your life?" "Will you allow Him to guide you into truth, in a world fast losing all hope in despondency and ruin?"

God wants to lead each of you toward a depth of intimacy and relationship that would seem unapproachable. This depth of intimacy is inspired and the heart is prepared by God to receive His treasures given. Moses was intimate with God.

Intimate = there was closeness ---in spirit --- an understanding a being familiar, having relationship and confidence by faith, through faith, day by day, believing in the one to whom you cannot see through the natural eye, but by seeing through the eyes of your spirit is He made known.

Intimate = being sensitive and aware, responsive and susceptible, subject to the very Hand of God who formed you!

Intimate = a drawing near, to his love, his embrace, his warm and caring friendship that is so uniquely fashioned just for you!

Do not hesitate to abandon yourself to participate with God. There are always mixed emotions when you are not sure of what you should expect, when reaching out into the unknown things, apart from your own natural behavior.

The way is clearly marked by the Hand of God alone. Come walk with God!

Let "May I Have This Dance?" inspire you to come up hither.

Step up to conquer the fears within you! Reach out to possess the attributes of God. Allow the impression of His unconditional love to begin to touch you. You will embrace His rhythm and begin to develop a divine understanding of who He really is.

Impossible? I think not!

Matthew 19:26 says: "But with God all things are possible." Mark 9:23 says: "Everything is possible for him who believes."

Try putting your faith into action. God's scripture in Matthew 9:29 proclaims: "According to your faith, it will be done you."

Begin to create with your own faith, a deep and everlasting union with God. Bind yourself to His truth to possess the works of the Lord. Examine your hearts. Establish your commitment today!

It is the Spirit of the Living God which searches all things, even the deep things of God, testing the hearts condition for the deeper truths of faith to be revealed. Psalm 42:7 is a challenge for the average Christian today whose hearts expression is shallow. It says: "Deep calleth unto deep in the roar of your waterfall."

Are you an eternal fountain, sealed with living waters? Through God's divine power a way is provided!

"May I indeed have This Dance?"

Let me inspire you to join me. Release yourself to connect and worship God in ways you have never before put into practice. Seek the Lord while He may be found. Call upon Him while He is near! Let us go up to the Mountain of the Lord, to walk together in the Light of His embrace.

Psalm 113:5 asks this question: "Who is the most high over all the earth? There is none like God. Majestic in holiness, awesome in glory --- working wonders, one who rides on the heavens and who is the eternal God, our refuge, and Father of all and through all, and in all. He is our shield - our helper and His arms are open wide to receive us.

Arise to come, one and all! Go early to His vineyard. He will give you treasures of darkness. Riches stored in secret places so you may know Him. Rejoice! Let us go to meet Him there!

In closing, Intimacy with God inspires daily commitment. There are necessary steps that must be taken toward a higher degree and level of understanding.

Faith pleases God and without faith it is impossible to please Him, because anyone who comes to Him must first believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him.

Matthew 17:20 says: "If you have faith as small as a mustard seed nothing will be impossible to you."

Begin to reach out! Ephesians 3:12 provides: "In Him and through faith in Him, we may approach Father with freedom and confidence." There has been given to each one of us a measure of faith. Develop it. In this life, we have decisions to make. Behold! This place where you stand! Look everyday for the new opportunities coming your way to make those right choices to progress with God. It only takes one decision to access the open doors awaiting you. Keep your eyes fixed upon the Lord and the decisions that will create "change."

You will receive what the Hand of God has for you. Make your commitment today and create the platform with which to walk by faith, to develop in your faith spiritual determination and correction.

As you are reaching out to discover your destiny with God, remember John 14:18 promises from God, "I will not leave you as orphans, I will come to you."

And, Joshua 1:5 proclaims: "No one will be able to stand against you all the days of your life, as I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will never leave you or forsake you."

Let's Pray: Father, let us be encouraged through Luke 26:31 so that our Spiritual eyes can be opened and we will recognize you!

Thank you for Jesus, the ultimate sacrifice that rends the veil to drop between us and thee. Give us the ability to come to you, knowing you unconditionally love us and approve of us.

Let us be completely free to intimately express ourselves to you.

We ask this in the Name of Jesus, Amen.
